North Las Vegas, NV – Rosie’s Wish Community Development Corporation (CDC) is thrilled to host its 14th Annual Back-to-School Supply & Backpack Drive and Giveaway, taking place today and tomorrow, Friday, August 8, and Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Empowering 2 Excel, located at 570 W. Cheyenne Avenue, North Las Vegas.
Rosie’s Wish CDC, on a mission to empower families and prevent Type 2 diabetes among children by promoting healthy nutrition, fitness, and wellness habits, is teaming up with Empowering 2 Excel—a mental health and community wellness hub—to bring much-needed school supplies to local youth. Empowering 2 Excel not only provides crucial mental health services and mentoring interventions but also supports Rosie’s Wish CDC as part of its broader community commitment.
