Introduction
Rosie’s Wish Community Development Corporation (RWCDC) is launching a Coat Drive to provide warm outerwear to children and adults in our community who need it most. Many families in the Las Vegas area lack access to adequate winter clothing. Your donation ensures they can stay warm while focusing on health, education, and family.
What to Donate
- New or gently used coats and jackets in all sizes (infant through adult).
- Coats should be clean and wearable, with working zippers and buttons. Torn or unwearable coats should be recycled rather than donated.
- We also welcome cold‑weather accessories such as scarves, gloves/mittens and hats.
- Please avoid donating heavy furniture or other clothing—this drive is focused on outerwear.
When and Where to Donate
- Dates: Our coat drive runs throughout the holiday season—most coat drives are traditionally held in fall or early winter, from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day. Donations accepted through December 31, 2025 (extend if needed).
- Drop‑off location: Rosie’s Wish CDC, 570 W. Cheyenne Ave., Suite 20, North Las Vegas, Nevada 89030.
- Contact: Phone (702) 399‑666, email rosieswishcdclv@gmail.com for questions or to arrange large donations.
Why Your Support Matters
- Families in need often choose between paying bills and buying warm clothing—your gently used coat can ease that burden.
- Donated coats will be distributed free of charge to local shelters, schools and families.
- Sharing warmth not only protects against the cold but uplifts spirits and promotes community unity.
